Do you love RHD cars, but you’re too American to admit it? Do you want to piss off both the import and domestic crowds at the same time? Were you picked on in high school and wish you could relive those glory days? If you answered yes to any of these, have I got the shitbox for you!

Good hook, but yeah, I feel like $1200 would be a better asking price.

Agreed, don’t think the RHD or history adds anything here, used Saturns are pretty much the dirt under the first rung of the ladder on the used car heap, so at almost 300000 miles so a price somewhere a little above salvage value is about right.

SOHC is better for daily use.
Where did you see rust, it’s Plastic!
I mean, they’re asking too much IMO as well, but only because it’s a high mileage car, not because there’s actually anything major wrong with it.

The rust is under the hood
the SOHC engine is literally a crackhead engine. As in, the head likes to crack. They also burn oil. Head gasket failure, too. More
problems than the DOHC engine

Half the listed price would be a much more realistic starting point for selling that thing.

In my experience, the SOHC’s issues are tied directly to who owned them and how they were taken care of. Given this car still looks this good at 280k of mail use, I wouldn’t be worried about it.
